I decided to extend on my heart bowl concept and create a whole new shape that had a lid. I completely redesigned the shape in CAD from the ground up, making more organic curves to give it a softer look.

Heart Box #1 is made from cherry wood, and Bora Bora Blue epoxy. The first one is a great prototype, and looks gorgeous. My wife felt like the thickness of the sides was a little much for a box, so she suggested I make it a little lighter. We also thought the lid was a touch heavy, so the next ones will have a slightly lighter lid with more material removes. I touched up the shape a bit too, to make it more pleasing.
