I call this the $1100 mirror frame, but only because I bought some software that cost $1000 to design it.
I wanted to design something that was purely mathematical, and Rhino’s Grasshopper allows you to create really interesting shapes using a semi-programming-like node structure.

The main reason to make it was to create two identical mirrors for my master bathroom. I wanted something that flowed and curved, but with a straight cut rectangular mirror inside of it.
The mirror was cut by the guys at Lowes based on my size, and the wood is cherry.
Like a lot of my projects, I decided to share the digital files as a free download: Mirror Frame Digital Files v1.
