One of my first redwood tree engravings that I did. This one is in blue epoxy in oak wood that I harvested from a fallen tree. The tree spalted, meaning it mushrooms and bugs started to consume it, which generates a really interesting figure and character to the piece. It is finished with oil, and has a stain look. The back has a picture frame hanger attached so it can be hung on the wall.
This is an original unique piece, and will be removed from the store when it is sold.
The height is about 12″ with about a 7.5″ width. The thickness is about 1/2″. It weighs about 2 pounds.
