The most unique and beautiful wood salad set! I did design this set specifically for salads, but the spoon can do double duty as a spatula, as it has a very subtle curve to it. I find myself using this spoon a lot to stir things in the frying pan. Well, not this exact spoon, but one I made for myself!
NOTE: I have two sets available, and on one set the back of the fork has a dark knot in it, as seen in the photos. This shouldn’t affect anything, but is a natural variation in the wood.
Both are made from cherry wood with a hibiscus shape flower inlay made from walnut wood. No epoxy or fillers.
The wood is finished with a 100% food safe cutting board oil from “Walrus Oil” (not made with any animal products). It provides a nice satin finish, that can easily be renewed over time with more oil.
The sizes are roughly: 12.7″ long, 3″ wide, 1.1″ tall.
These are hand made by me (Corbin Dunn) in my small workshop in Truckee, California from my own design.
Care instructions: hand wash with soap and warm water. Do not leave them sitting in liquid for long periods of time. Do not put in the dishwasher. Refresh the finish with more cutting board oil very now and again.
